Memphis, Tenn. – July 15, 2010 – After a recent renovation that allowed Christie Medical Holdings, Inc., formerly Luminetx® Corporation, to consolidate the space in their Memphis office to one floor, the medical device company found themselves with an abundance of furnishings and office equipment. “The layout of the first floor didn’t really accommodate our specific needs, and after combining the floors we had two of just about everything,” said John Ogle, Director of Finance for Christie Medical Holdings (Christie). A silent auction held at the end of June gave employees and their friends and family the opportunity to purchase the items with all proceeds going to the Ronald McDonald House. John Ogle and Ida Dixon, Executive Administrator, were the architects of the donation idea as well as executing the silent auction itself. This afternoon Chris Schnee, General Manager–VP Sales and Marketing for Christie presented the charity with a check for $4,714.    “The renovation has enabled our entire staff to work more closely as a team, and they loved that the auction was designed to give support to an incredible charity like the Ronald McDonald House,” said Schnee. “We want to continue giving to this city and will be actively looking for ways to contribute in many forms of service.
